NASRIN is an immersive portrait of one of the world’s most courageous human rights activists and political prisoners, Nasrin Sotoudeh — and of Iran’s remarkably resilient women’s rights movement. It was filmed in Iran by women and men who risked arrest to make this extraordinary documentary.
After the film there will be a LIVE panel discussion, featuring the filmmaker Jeff Kaufman, Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi, and Iranian activist Maryam Shafipour. The panel will be moderated by international human rights lawyer, Amanda Ghahremani.
