Women in Black (WIB) is a world-wide feminist network of women committed to peace with justice and actively opposed to injustice, war, militarism and other forms of violence. It was founded in 1988 in Israel as campaign to peacefully end Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. The network works to prevent conflicts, to resolve conflicts through dialogue and to promote the active participation of women in peace building.
WIB has engaged in solidarity work with asylum seekers in Serbia since 2013. Their supportive efforts include bringing food and drinks for refugees living outside and waiting at bus and trains stations.
