The Women of Congo Speak Out delegation met with government officials and members of the International Campaign to Stop Rape & Gender Violence in Conflict in Bunia, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo to uncover how they respond to women impacted by the ongoing conflict in the region. The conversations revealed that the Congolese government is trying to implement strategies at the national and provincial level while grassroots women tackle the situation with innovative strategies at the community level.
