In September, our board hired a team of feminist consultants to conduct a critical review of our internal practices, policies, and culture.
Shortly after starting, that team decided to withdraw, having discovered that their relationships with former staff and parties who have engaged publicly on the matter could be perceived as prejudicing the process.
A re-initiated search was expanded to include options outside of Canada. The board expects to announce its selection within the next couple of weeks.
We continue to expect the external review to be a thorough, valuable process and welcome the critical recommendations it will yield.
