Debbie King is an actuary who has served in key roles for major insurance companies, currently heading the risk management function of a global insurer. She serves on two State Insurance Boards in Texas that provide insurance to the underserved market. Debbie has a passion for nature and for species conservation which led her to a project in the Northern Great Plains that warms her heart. She is a partner with the World Wildlife Fund supporting its work to return the bison to their original home. This project is both restoring a keystone species and ecosystem, and is bringing back the culture and spirit of the native peoples of the Northern Great Plains who are an integral part of this effort. A native of California, Debbie lives in Dallas, with her husband, Brad. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
