Women Nobel Laureates Bear Witness to Genocide and Illegal Occupation in Palestine

A delegation organized by Nobel Women’s Initiative (NWI) and led by Nobel Peace Prize laureates Jody Williams, Tawakkol Karman and Shirin Ebadi, travelled to Occupied Palestinian Territories and Jordan to meet with and hear from Palestinian women, who are disproportionately affected by the ongoing crisis.

Day One in the West Bank

Earlier this month, I joined a group of peacebuilders led by Nobel Peace Prize laureates Jody Williams, Tawakkol Karman, and Shirin Ebadi travelling to Jordan and the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

We came to bear witness to and stand in solidarity with women and communities living under occupation, and to amplify their voices and calls for justice, dignity, and peace.
