Hopes for the year ahead

"It has been a really difficult year across the globe. There seems to be little to quell the lack of compassion, and distrust among people and nations, and peace seems like a distant dream. It is sometimes hard to be hopeful. And yet in the face of all of this, what we need now is to continue to show up for peace.

To stand together with our sisters and partners to demand accountability. To stand for one another with love and compassion despite and in spite of our differences. Now more than ever we need feminist peace ideals and new ways of ensuring that 2023 goes down in history as tragic, violent, brutal and hopefully a turning point in humanity. Let 2024 be the year that turning point begins." - Tania Principe, Interim Executive Director
