Jacquelinne Cadena

Administrative and Events Assistant

Jacquelinne has a diverse background in event planning, treasury, and education. She is passionate about making a positive impact in the community, and her love for Latin American culture drives her to volunteer and work in various organizations. Jacquelinne has volunteered for the Colombian Canadian Community, a non-profit organization that brings the community together through fundraising, recreational, business-oriented, cultural, and educational events. She has also volunteered for the Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada Women's Mentorship Program, which aims to help build community-owned and women-led cooperatives across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Additionally, she has worked as a Spanish instructor for young children in the International Language program at the Conseil des Écoles Catholiques du Centre-Est.

Jacquelinne has a few hobbies that she enjoys, such as spending quality time with her family and being surrounded by nature. She loves dogs and also has a passion for arts, particularly painting and sculpting. She holds a degree in Business Administration from EAN University in Colombia, along with a graduate certificate in Event Management from Algonquin College and a certificate in Virtual & Hybrid Events Director from the Event Leadership Institute.
