Vanessa Tsehaye grew up hearing her uncle's story—journalist Seyoum Tsehaye has been unjustly imprisoned in Eritrea under inhumane conditions and without a trial since 2001. Now she's making sure that his case is not forgotten. Founded by Vanessa in 2013, One Day Seyoum is a youth-led organization that campaigns for the release of unjustly imprisoned people in Eritrea and for the liberation of all Eritreans.
