Sheryl is an immigration attorney, peacebuilder, and community connector dedicated to fostering understanding across cultures and communities. She is the founder of Global Girls, an international network uniting young women from more than 30 countries through friendship, dialogue, and leadership, and serves on the board of InterAct, a peace-building organization co-founded by a Palestinian and an Israeli committed to reconciliation and nonviolence.
Alongside a distinguished immigration law career representing artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, and families from around the world, Sheryl has devoted much of her life to creating experiences that bring people together across differences. Among her proudest accomplishments are building the Global Girls community during the pandemic and launching “The Art of Migration,” a nationwide initiative exploring identity, culture, and belonging through storytelling and shared experiences. Her work is guided by a deep belief in human connection, empathy, and the power of creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and understood.
