Through intimate, firsthand accounts, the film amplifies the voices of women who continue to lead, resist, and rebuild in the face of extraordinary adversity. Their stories are not only a testament to survival but also to defiance, dignity, and an unbreakable spirit.
Featured in the film are the courageous stories of:
- Reema Abu Aita - A nursing student whose university education was abruptly cut short by the ongoing Israeli war on Palestine.
- Dr. Asma Nayfeh - A surgeon working on the front lines to save lives.
- Kefaya Khreim - A human rights lawyer.
- Halimah Zawaideh - An English teacher and refugee.
- Diala Ayesh - A lawyer.
- Aya Al Turk - A social media journalist.
- Sama Nejm - A trainer, violinist and choir member.
- Sherine Zedan - A music teacher.
The film was commissioned by Nobel Women’s Initiative and made by Mariam Shahin, Maysara Films.
